It is hard to describe myself, here is a short bio:
I was born one day in 1980 somewhere in Tehran, Iran and now I am living in Genève, Switzerland.
I was a student in Farabi and Val-asr primary school where I had friends with whom I am still in touch and some others that I could not find anymore (Ali Zolfaghari, Amir-Mohsen Madani - please get back in touch).
I spent good times and found my best friends while studying in Allameh Helli middle school and high school. I graduated from Helli in 1998 and enrolled as an undergrad student in Electrical Engineering in the ECE dept. of the University of Tehran. I stayed in the same department for my masters in biomedical engineering working on multi-subject fMRI analysis for my thesis under supervision of profs. GA Hossein-Zadeh and H. Soltanian-Zadeh.
While studying in the Univ. of Tehran, I worked first as a programmer at Paya Software company and then as a network engineer at Iranet/IPM.
Currently, I am working toward my doctorate in computer science in the CVML Lab of the Université de Genève under the supervision of Thierry Pun.
